Vaccination Requirements
1) A yellow fever vaccination certificate is mandatory
at the port of entry in Brazil, if the traveler has visited, within the last 90 days, any of the following countries:
In Africa: Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of
Congo, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Sudan.
In South America: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guyana, Peru and Venezuela.
2) Yellow fever vaccination is advisable if the travelers’ destination
in Brazil includes any of the following States: Acre, Amazonas, Amapá, Federal District, Goiás, Maranhão,
Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins.
3) A polio vaccination certificate is mandatory at
the port of entry in Brazil for children between the ages of 3 months and 6 years.
