Please take notice of the jurisdiction of each Consular Office when forwarding your application (visa and tourism information, as well as download of the necessary visa request forms, are available online). The Embassy of Brazil in Ottawa only processes visas required by residents of the National Capital Region, except tourist and business applications submitted in person by residents of other regions. Applications received by mail or by courier from outside the jurisdiction of the Embassy will be returned to the sender.

To better serve Brazilian citizens and the general public, the Consulate General of Brazil in Vancouver will be operating as of February 6th, 2008. Its consular jurisdiction will include the following provinces and territories: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Yukon and Northwest Territories.

              The Consulate General of Brazil in Vancouver will be officially certified to offer all types of consular services, including the issuance of passports for Brazilian citizens and travel visas to Canadian citizens.
